职位描述

Reporting to the engineering leader, the Advanced Quality Engineer will be primarily responsible for quality assurance for New Product Development (NPD) projects including working with/advising engineering design teams on quality obtainability (design to quality) through process capability analyses and quality planning; and working with manufacturing teams and suppliers on quality plans and parts/components qualification for NPD projects. The role will work closely with global design/engineering teams and global production units, as well as suppliers and purchasing department, to ensure product quality is aligned with the requirements of the relevant project. The role will focus on the development and production support of products that are manufactured in China for the local China market, but may also include participations or frequent cooperation in other product development tasks depending on capabilities and availability of resources.

Responsibilities:
1 Provide quality assurance guidance and training to global engineering design teams
2 Participate design gate review, providing valuable expertise from quality viewpoint
3 Key interface among engineering design teams, manufacturing operations, purchasing and suppliers to ensure quality in accordance with relevant standards and approved spec
4 Estimate and monitor on quality compliance and cost control by risk assessment and management during the entire project by using relevant six-sigma tools
5 Active representative for supplier quality homologation and equipment/tooling vendors for quality assurance
6 Development and plant implementation of quality plans for specified NPD projects to ensure quality goals are met
7 Internal quality management standards/procedures/documents creating; Quality target set and implementation
8 Organize regular quality review meeting

Key Competencies

Educational and Work Experience Requirements:
1 Bachelor or above Degree in Engineering from China Tertiary Institute
2 Minimum of 3 years\\\' experience in quality engineering of industrial products
3 Experience in implementing ISO quality standards
4 Thoroughness in quality documentation
5 Self-motivated and able to prioritise work
6 Good interpersonal skills
7 Fluent in Microsoft Office Application
